Please read on for highlights from the range. Pricing Update: The last month has seen one of the most challenging pricing environments for structured products since 2008. We have seen unprecedented increase in volatility whilst central banks have reduced interest rates to levels below what was experienced post the last crisis. Accordingly, Investec have made some rate reductions across their Deposit and Investment Plans. However, Investec have maintained rates on the FTSE 100 Step Down Kick-Out Plan 36 and the 6 Year Defensive Deposit Plan 29 (Min Return version), as well as improving the rate on the FTSE 100 Income Deposit Plan 35 – Monthly. Reduction and limited capacity of the Investment Plan Range: As a result of the recent market sell-off Investec are unlikely to see the volume of early kick-outs that they have been accustomed to over the past 10 years. As such, Investec have reduced their range of Investment Plans to match the limited volume that will mature this year. Volume capacity in their new range of Investment Plans is limited, meaning that Investec may have to close offers early. In the event that they close their Investment Plans early, they will endeavour to provide notice two days in advance of the closure so we, Best Price Financial Services, would remove the plans from our website as soon as is practically possible.
